Candidates running for office in Hardin County attended the Sabine Area Labor Council meeting Tuesday, Jan, 15. hoping to land the endorsement of the council. The council invites all candidates running for election and then privately interviews them behind closed doors away from the other candidates. The Q & A can last anywhere from 10-15 minutes in front of several representatives from the Council as they are called back one at a time. Vice President Jeff Darby with Texas AFL-CIO was overseeing and directing the forum. Running for Constable for Pct. 3 Robert “Trey” Brothers, Kenny Davenport for Pct. 1.  Three Commissioner hopefuls for Hardin County Pct. 3 were also in attendance, Robert “Robby” Martin, Allan Charles Murphy, and Donald Owens.
