UPDATE: Chief Danny Sullins has released the name of the victim involved in the Auto-Pedestrian wreck that claimed the life of 30-year-old female Tuesday, Dec, 31.

Lesley Jayne Hansen, 30 of Lumberton was the one who died from her injuries after being struck by a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Silsbee woman on US highway 96 and Boardwalk.  

The accident happened at approximately 7:50 p.m. on New Years Eve.
