DPS Releases names of those involved in fatality


The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has confirmed to the Brooks Report that Shane Hardy of Sour Lake and Destiny Sells of Port Arthur were the two occupants in the white Chevrolet passenger vehicle from last night’s crash on SH 105. The driver, 20-year-old Shane Hardy, and Destiny Sells, 20, were pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Mark Ames at the scene.

The driver of the black 2005 Mercury SUV, 52-year-old Shadron Priddy of Sour Lake, was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the red 2017 Kia SUV, 61-year-old Kathryn Allen of Shepherd, was not injured in the crash.

The investigation is still ongoing. Prayers for all involved.
