SEVERAL ARRESTED FOR PROSTITUTION/HUMAN TRAFFICKING

PROSTITUTION/HUMAN TRAFFICKING; are we still in SETX?

Six Southeast Texas Men Arrested in an Undercover Prostitution Operation

According to the Beaumont PD on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at approximately 2:30PM, Beaumont Police plain clothes and uniformed officers with the Narcotics and Vice Unit, conducted an undercover prostitution operation at a Beaumont hotel. Undercover officers placed an ad on the internet for acts of prostitution. Numerous individuals responded and reached an agreement to exchange sexual favors for money. Six males showed up at the hotel room and agreed to pay for sexual intercourse. All six subjects were placed under arrest, transported to the Jefferson County Jail and charged with prostitution.

The Beaumont Police Department is working hard to stop human trafficking in our city. Many human trafficking victims are used in the sex trade industry. This is one of many ways we are working to prevent more demand for victims in our area.

The six men arrested were identified as:

Quentin Bloodworth, a 25 year old man from Orange, Tx.

Donell Gallien, a 23 year old man from Beaumont, Tx.

Ahsan Tariq, a 30 year old man from Port Arthur, Tx.

John Parrott, a 48 year old man from Vidor, Tx.

Luis Planas, a 45 year old man from Beaumont, Tx.

Timothy Mitchell, a 45 year old man from Orange, Tx.
