ANNOUNCEMENT - HARDIN COUNTY:

ANNOUNCEMENT- HARDIN COUNTY: Cory Jeffcoat is announcing that he is running for the position of Constable for Hardin County Precinct 4. He will be running on the Republican ticket in the 2020 election. Cory lives in Pine Ridge with his wife Trina and has two children. He has served the people of Hardin County for the past 12 years as Precinct 4 Deputy Constable. Cory began his law enforcement career in 1995 as a Patrol Officer at Kountze Police Department under the leadership of Dale Williford, where he served for 6 years. Throughout his Law Enforcement career, he has a total of 24 years of experience and dedication to serving his community. His Law Enforcement experience, combined with his education, has enabled him to receive his Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Master Peace Officer license through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Cory graduated from the TEEX Central Police Academy in 1993. He also holds an Instructor Certification with Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, and has held Texas Paramedic Certification since 1988. Cory has received thousands of hours of law enforcement training, including extensive training in Execution of Civil Process. Cory is currently the Precinct 4 Constable, as he is serving out the unexpired term of the previous Constable, Mark Ames. “I believe the most challenging part of being Constable is doing what the State of Texas mandates us to do, what the Commissioners Court expects us to do, and what the citizens expect us to do, while striving to do it efficiently and effectively.” Cory said. “All my accomplishments over the past 24 years, whether professionally or educationally, were never meant to be a stepping stone for the bigger and better things, but rather to help me be the best Constable I can be for the people of Hardin County. If elected Constable, I hope to do just that.”
