ELECTION NEWS-Silsbee: Davenport sets sights on Constable run!

My name is Kenny Davenport and I am proud to announce my candidacy for the office of Constable in Precinct 1. I am currently employed as a school resource officer for the Silsbee Independent School District. I have served Hardin County as a police officer since 1980 where I began my career with the Silsbee Police Department. I also served as the Chief Deputy for the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department for over 22 years. I am married to Jodi Davenport and we have one daughter, Kendra Walters, who is married to Matt Walters. They have a two-year-old son, Stetson. I have lived in Silsbee all my life and have been blessed to call Silsbee and Hardin County my home. I am a graduate of Silsbee High School and the East Texas Police Academy. I hold a Master Peace Officer Certification and I am trained as a hostage negotiator. It would be an honor and a pleasure to serve the citizens of Precinct 1 as Constable. I would appreciate your vote in the March 3, 2020 primary.“
